Most Valuable Player Life Jacket

The MVP Life Jacket is a gold life jacket with the Maroon Flying C on the left breast, and is awarded at the end of every game for the Chippewas, given to the player deemed to be the most valuable in the teams effort for that night. While Hockey indeed is a team sport, there are certain individuals who contribute more towards earning the win that night, and the Jacket is given in honor of their efforts. Earning the golden life jacket is an achievement that every Chippewa is expected to strive for. Here are this year's recipients of the Jacket thus far, and how they recieved it.

Hardest Worker Helmet

The Hardest Worker Helmet is a gold hard hat awarded to the individual on the team who put their full effort on the ice during every moment they were on the ice, and while not the main reason for the win, was one of the ultimate factors, and was a guaranteed work horse every time they were out on the ice. A Chippewa is expected to work like a dog, and strive for success every time the puck comes near them to earn the Hardest Worker Helmet. Listed are this year's recipients of the Hardest Worker Helmet, and how they earned it.

Sept 19th @ SVSU:

Ryan Tyrer (Forward #11): Skated hard every shift and contributed a point on the stat sheet by way of an assist in a 5-4 comeback victory for CMU.
