Tyler Marcotte is a Sophomore at Central Michigan University, and serves as the Director of Video and Media Content, and Color Commentator for CMU Hockey. A former hockey player, and Captain of the back-to-back State Finalist Northville Prep Hockey tean, he has hung up the skates in favor of creating content above the ice and along the boards. Tyler works for the Chippewa Sports Network, an ESPN3 subsidary, as a Cameraman, and has worked in the past with Sports Central at Central Michigan University.
Tyler started off his broadcasting career as the lead of the Sports Department for the Northville High School Broadcasting Program. He has also worked alongside his father for many professional and college hockey events, including the 2014 Winter Classic in Detroit, Michigan between the Detroit Red Wings and the Toronto Maple Leafs. This is Tyler's second year reporting for CMU Hockey, as he worked closely with the CMU D-II Team last year as a member of Sports Central.
